The Safety Letterbox Company Ltd was founded in 1986, and is the only manufacturer of secure letterbox units in the UK. The company has a manufacturing base in Neath, South Wales and supply throughout the UK and Ireland. The company has a wide range of letterboxes suitable for virtually any application.
Its reputation is built on quality and attention to detail, conforming to ISO 9001 standards. All letterboxes follow a process of technical planning, sheet metal, powder coating and assembly prior to packing and despatch.
Precision instruments and machinery are used to produce the materials required for all models within the extensive range.
The powder coating system includes a 3 stage pre treatment prior to powder coating to ensure the longevity and durability of the product conforming to a 1200hrs salt water spray test. The product is then powder coated to a choice of RAL colours in the standard range.
The assembly of the product includes quality checks and all staff are trained to ensure a high standard throughout. The company was accredited with the Investor in People standard in August 2002.
